Why Use a Child Care Health Consultant?

“Health in the earliest years lays the groundwork for a lifetime of well-being.” – National Center on Early Childhood Health and Wellness

Child Care Health Consultants (CCHCs) are trained health professionals with specialized education and experience. They provide valuable support to child care providers, children, and families by addressing emerging health issues, ensuring compliance with health standards, and fostering environments where children can thrive.

In Federal Fiscal Year 2023, Missouri’s CCHC Program:

  • Served 32,050 children and 11,411 child care providers.
  • Provided 4,262 hours of health and safety services.

If you have concerns about a child care facility’s health or safety, contact the Andrew County Health Department to file a report. We investigate complaints promptly to ensure compliance and protect children’s well-being.
