Food Establishment Inspection Reports

 

The Andrew County Health Department conducts food service inspections under the authority of the Andrew County Food Service Ordinance. This Ordinance sets forth standards by which sources of food, food service establishments, food service personnel, and food service equipment are regulated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Critical items relate directly to factors which lead to Foodborne illness, these items must receive immediate action. Non-critical items relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness, these items are to be corrected by the next regular inspection.

February 2015 Food Establishment Inspection Report

It Dawned on Me/ Rusty’s Café, 12789 Country Place Dr., Country Club, MO 64505. Pre-Opening x2. 2/03/2015. Critical: No sanitizer- brought in to health department when permit application was filed.

St Joseph Country Club, 50 Ridgeland Rd., Country Club, 64505. Re-inspection. 2/03/2015. Critical: No employees with food safety training Non-Critical: Paint peeling on several walls and ceilings, some floors dirty- corrected on-site, some water damage on ceiling, ceiling vents and tiles around it dusty, missing floor tile, some metal shelving rusted, door coming apart.    

Re-inspection x2. 2/06/2015. Non-Critical: Paint peeling on several walls and ceilings, some floors dirty- corrected on-site, some water damage on ceiling, ceiling vents and tiles around it dusty, missing floor tile, some metal shelving rusted, door coming apart.    

Tacos and Tequila, 302 N HWY 71, Savannah, MO 64485. Pre-Opening. 2/10/2015. Critical: Beer mug freezer dirty, inappropriate pest control devices used, inside ice machine dirty, mouse droppings found, slicer dirty, no food safety training.  Non- Critical: No hot water at serving station, no paper towels at hand-sink, no soap at hand-sink, no trash can at hand-sink, no lighting in mop room, stained ceiling tile, dirty fan, outer surfaces dirty, floor dirty, no hand-sink sign.

Pre-Opening x2. 2/12/2015. Critical: Slicer dirty- corrected on-site, mouse droppings- corrected on-site. – Dish machine in disrepair during both inspections, 3 compartment sink must be used until dish machine is confirmed working properly.

Pre-Opening. 2/13/2015. All items corrected.
