Food Establishment Inspection Reports

 

The Andrew County Health Department conducts food service inspections under the authority of the Andrew County Food Service Ordinance. This Ordinance sets forth standards by which sources of food, food service establishments, food service personnel, and food service equipment are regulated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Critical items relate directly to factors which lead to Foodborne illness, these items must receive immediate action. Non-critical items relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness, these items are to be corrected by the next regular inspection.

Andrew County Oil, 8751 Hwy 71, Savannah, MO 64485. Routine. 06/06/2017. Critical: Hot food items holding below 135degrees- corrected, sanitizer too strong- corrected, inside ice machine dirty, no 7-day date-marking on potentially hazardous ready to eat food item, toxic items stored above food items in store area. Non-Critical: Bulk food items put out for individual sale without proper labeling, some floor dirty, torn gasket on ice machine, liner used inside utensil drawer, no self-closing door on restroom, exhaust fan dirty.

Camp Geiger, 9525 County Road 388, St Joseph, MO 64505. Routine. 06/06/2017. Critical: Mouse droppings found- Licensed pest control contracted, inspection forms of 5/31/2017 and 6/06/2017 provided. Non-Critical: Counter under cooking equipment dirty, ceiling vents dirty, gaps in concrete floor pads, outer openings unprotected from pests, damaged wall, ceiling fan dirty.

Trex Mart #11, 4177 59 HWY, Savannah, MO 64485. Routine. 06/08/2017. Critical: Utensil drawers and bins dirty, hot food items temping below 135 degrees, oven dirty, food bin dirty, toxic item stored by food contact items- corrected, food items passed 7-day date-marking- corrected. Non-Critical: Some drawers dirty, some shelving dirty, single service items stored improperly, standing fan dirty- turned off, outside of equipment taped together, shelving coming apart, cracked floor tiles, dirty non-food contact items such as outside of bins and trays, drying dishes improperly, tracks on cold unit dirty, some floor dirty, some cabinets dirty.
