Food Establishment Inspection Reports

 

The Andrew County Health Department conducts food service inspections under the authority of the Andrew County Food Service Ordinance. This Ordinance sets forth standards by which sources of food, food service establishments, food service personnel, and food service equipment are regulated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Critical items relate directly to factors which lead to Foodborne illness, these items must receive immediate action. Non-critical items relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness, these items are to be corrected by the next regular inspection.

Jesse’s Last Stop, 12751 Country Place Drive, Country Club, MO 64505. Routine. 04/17/2015. Critical: No employee with food safety training, cooler temping at above 41degrees that contains potentially hazardous foods, lid and straw holders dirty, microwave dirty, improper cool down of potentially hazardous food Non-Critical: improper storage of single service item (coffee filters), inside cabinets dirty, condiment bins dirty, under donut trays dirty, sanitizer rags not stored in sanitizer, ice bagged on-site not properly marked, fan-guards in cooler dirty, food stored on floor in cooler unit, rusted dish drainer, exhaust fan in bathroom dirty, light-shield dirty, broken mirror.

Re-inspection. 4/28/2015. Non-Critical: broken mirror.

Dairy Queen, 108 S 72 HWY, Savannah, MO 64485. Routine. 4/17/2015. Critical: opened can was not put in proper container, utensil storage area unable to be properly cleaned, can opener dirty, inside ice machine dirty, food items stored with potential to be contaminated, slicer dirty. Non-Critical: inside freezer unit dirty, some floor in disrepair, some of the floor dirty, paint peeling  on shelving, employee restroom door left open, exhaust fan dirty, ice build-up in freezer, food item and contact items stored on floor, unnecessary clutter in storage shed, dirty door, dumpster lid open.

Re-inspection. 4/28/2015. Non-Critical: some floor in disrepair, some floor is dirty, paint peeling off shelving, unnecessary clutter in storage shed, dirty door.
